The ASB Officers and BHS Parent's Association are thrilled to introduce our new Monthly Character Recognition Program! This initiative celebrates students who demonstrate strong character traits throughout the school year, recognizing positive qualities that may not always show up on a transcript or scoreboard. Each student who is nominated receives a certificate and a prize.
How It Works: Each month, we will spotlight a different character trait and invite BHS Staff to nominate students who truly embody it.
On Monday, during the assembly, ASB officers recognized students for being nominated for Student of the Month for both March and April. (April Awards will follow in a separate post.)
For March, the Character Trait was RESPECT. The following students were nominated by a teacher for demonstrating respect:
Rachael Kelly
Emberly Richeson
Emily Graham
Jessica Jordan
Jimenez, Bridget
Lyla Callender
Maddox Behnke
Malia Stewart
Owen Bogroff
Rylan Senz
One student each month will be awarded the Top Student of the Month for March, representing Respect is Maddox Behnke. His teachers said: “Respectful to others, respectful of class norms, respectful of my time. Never have had a negative interaction with Maddox,” and “Helping create a positive classroom environment.” Congratulations Maddox!
