🌈 June is National Fresh Fruit & Veggie Month!
June is the tastiest time of year — local farms are bursting with colorful, crunchy, juicy produce, and we’re bringing that goodness right into our program. As the growing season hits full swing, it’s the perfect moment for kids to explore new flavors, learn where food comes from, and enjoy snacks that are as fun as they are healthy.
This month, we’ll be offering more fresh fruits and veggies during meals and snacks, and encouraging little ones to try something new. From sweet strawberries to snap peas that really snap, June is all about discovering delicious things together.

If you want ideas to keep the fun going at home, try:
Taste‑testing a new fruit
Letting kids pick a veggie at the farmers market
Making a rainbow snack plate
