3..2..1..pull!

Members of the 101st Force Support Squadron got after it bright and early Monday morning of Home Station Training Week, assembling two small shelter systems (Triple S).

The systems are designed to last upwards of twenty years when assembled properly, and can be equipped with heating and cooling, kitchens, and more!

Well done, FSS!

On June 1, 2026, the 101st Air Refueling Wing held an official Change of Command ceremony, marking a seamless transition of leadership and responsibility.

Col. Byron Newell relinquished command to Col. Sarah Clapp in a ceremony presided over by Brig. Gen. Ian Gillis, Maine Air National Guard Commander.

We proudly welcome Col. Clapp as the new 101st Air Refueling Wing Commander. Having previously served as the wing's Deputy Commander, Col. Clapp brings a profound understanding of our operational mission, our Airmen, and our strategic objectives.

We look forward to the future and continued mission excellence under her leadership!

Please join us in recognizing Col. Newell’s service to the 101st, and welcoming Col. Clapp!
