YOUTH FIELD HOCKEY DAY!

Come out to Cameron Stadium on Saturday, September 26th for a great day of field hockey as Bangor takes on Hermon!

Varsity — 11:00 AM
JV — 12:30 PM

Be sure to join us for the varsity game, because halftime will feature some of our youngest field hockey players! Our K–1 participants from the Bangor Parks & Recreation Fall Field Hockey Program will take the field for a mini game and get the chance to show off what they’ve been learning this season.

Come cheer them on, support Bangor Field Hockey, and help us give these young players a fun first experience under the lights at Cameron Stadium.

We hope to see you there!

Labor Day Road Race Recap!

Thank you to everyone who came out for this year’s Labor Day Road Race! We’re grateful to all of the runners, walkers, volunteers, and spectators who helped make this year’s event such a success.

A special congratulations to our top finishers:

Top Female Finisher: Ruby Krasnow — 27:17
Ruby also set a NEW FEMALE COURSE RECORD and was this year’s recipient of the Robin Emery Award.

Top Male Finisher: Cooper Parlee — 27:21

A little change of plans for our Fall Youth Guided Hikes!

We’ll now be offering one full-day hiking adventure this fall, heading to Pleasant Pond Mountain on Sunday, October 4!

This trip is open to ages 12 and up and is a great chance to get outside, enjoy the fall scenery, and spend a full day on the trail with a guided group.

Bring your little ones in for open gym play! Preschool Playtime is a great chance for kids to move, play, and burn off some energy. Children must be supervised by an adult.

Get creative this fall with our Basket Weaving Workshops! Join Wood Thrush Wilderness to learn traditional basket-making techniques and create something beautiful and functional to take home.

Choose from several basket options in October or try your hand at Wild Basketry in November. All materials are provided, and space is limited!
