🎮His autistic son was bullied on Minecraft. So this dad built a safer world for thousands of kids.

When Stuart Duncan saw his autistic son struggling to make friends online, he decided something had to change.

In 2013, he created Autcraft, a carefully moderated Minecraft community where autistic children and their families could play without fear of bullying or exclusion. 🛡️🌎

What started as one father’s idea grew into a worldwide community where thousands of children have found friendship, acceptance, and a place to belong. 🤝✨

Stuart eventually left his web-development career to dedicate himself to the community and the young people who depended on it.

🌟 One dad wanted to create a safe place for his son. He ended up creating one for thousands of children around the world. ♾️

Dear Case Managers: A Gentle Reminder

You Matter!

We know you give so much of yourselves. Your light and dedication are invaluable to so many. But remember, to shine brightly, you must first tend to your own fire.

This is your signal to prioritize self-care today.

Here’s your self-care checklist:

Stretch: Take a moment for a brief stretch to move your body.

Rest: Ensure you are getting enough sleep and restorative rest.

Breathe: Stop and take slow, deep breaths to reset.

Paint/Sing (or find a creative outlet!): Engage in a hobby or creative activity that brings you joy.

Connect: Take time to connect with colleagues, friends, and loved ones.

Take that breath, close that file, and fill your own cup. Because you truly, truly matter.

🌿 Wellness Wednesday: Your Well-Being Matters Too!
Sometimes self-care doesn’t mean a spa day or doing something big.
Sometimes it’s simply…

☕ Taking 10 quiet minutes with your favorite drink
🎧 Listening to a song that makes you happy
🌳 Getting outside for a little fresh air
😂 Watching something that makes you laugh
🧘 Taking a few slow, deep breaths
💬 Talking to someone you trust
😴 Giving yourself permission to rest
💗 Saying, “I’m doing the best I can today.”

🌸 A little challenge for today:

Pick ONE thing that makes you feel good and give yourself permission to enjoy it — without guilt.

And remember:

You cannot pour from an empty cup. Caring for yourself isn't selfish. It helps you have more energy, patience, and kindness for the people you care about.

Whether you're a client, caregiver, family member, or support professional — you matter, your feelings matter, and you deserve a little care, too. 💚
