Penobscot Regional Communications Center is proud to announce that, after six years of dedicated and challenging work, the majority of the project to modernize Penobscot County’s aging radio infrastructure is now complete. This effort has significantly strengthened public safety communications by providing reliable, countywide coverage along with enhanced redundancy and flexibility—capabilities that were not possible under the previous outdated system.

We extend our congratulations to Director Lavoie on reaching this important milestone, and our sincere thanks to Radio Communications Management, Inc for their commitment, expertise, and hard work throughout the project.
