The members are what make ! June 5th was National Running Day. But on September 17, 2022, Wesley Danforth ran the Air Force Marathon as part of the Air National Guard team. The Air Guard has consistently won the Air and Space for Challenge year after year, and 2022 was no different. TSgt Danforth and his team ran through 84 degree weather at 724 feet above sea level to help the ANG clinch the title over Air Combat Command, Air Education And Training Command, Air Force Material Command, U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa, Air Force District of Washington, United States Space Force, Air Mobility Command, U.S. Pacific Air Forces, Air Force Global Strike Command, and Air Force Special Operations Command.

In the civilian world, he is Wesley Danforth, R.D.H. In the military world, TSgt Danforth is a medic and superstar marathoner with the 101st MDG!

The "Express Rescue System" has gone international! This unique system developed by the 101st MDG allows for minimal manpower to transport a patient safely between various airframes.

Maj Fazeli is featured in the third picture! Although he joined as an interpreter, his Flight Surgeon expertise was recognized and he soon became a valued participant for both his medical and lingual contributions to the exercise.

African Lion is U.S. Africa Command's premier, joint, annual exercise hosted by Morocco, Ghana, Senegal, and Tunisia from May to June 2024. Annually, more than 10,000 participants from 20 nations and NATO train together with a focus on enhancing interoperability with African partner nation forces.
