Join other volunteers, the Two Rivers Coalition, and the VBCD for a fun time while doing good! 💙💚

We collect macroinvertebrates (bugs and the like) from water. The Pokagon Band analyzes what we collect. These macroinvertebrates tell us the short and long term health of our water and help us respond when it’s not healthy. There are different ways to participate whether you want to be on land, in the water, or somewhere in-between. 🌊🪲

No skills or experience needed! We have the supplies, the snacks and drinks, and we’ll show you how easy it is to participate!

🚨PROJECT ALERT🚨

The Van Buren County Road Commission will be completing a drainage and paving project on CR 365 between I-94 and the Village of Lawrence in Lawrence Township.

Access to I-94 and Crandall Parkway is available from the South end of the project. Access to the VBISD is available from the North end of the project. The road will be closed to through-traffic for the safety of motorists and the contractors. Please follow the posted detour on CR 215 and CR 365 S.

On Wednesday, June 10, Kalli will be set up and ready to go at the Bangor Fire Department (417 Arlington St., Bangor, MI 49013) from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM.

💻📞We will be accepting electronics for recycling from any Van Buren County resident or landowner.

Come learn more about recycling and gather information from our Materials Management Project Manager for all your disposal needs.
