One of my favorite parts of serving on Council is getting to see what happens behind the scenes.
Tonight, Rescue welcomed me into their training and showed me how they vent roofs during a fire. I’m always grateful when our first responders include me, answer my million questions, and help me better understand the work they do.

A huge thank you to Second Ward Fire Company and everyone who participated in and supported last night’s 9/11 Remembrance Walk. 🇺🇸
I’m sorry I wasn’t able to be there this year, but I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to honor and remember those we lost, as well as the first responders who answered the call that day.
Thank you for continuing this important tradition in our community.
We will never forget. 🇺🇸
