Bamberg-Ehrhardt Middle School is proud to celebrate Mrs. Carroll Ulmer as our 2026 Teacher of the Year! ❤️🖤

Now in her 28th year of teaching, Mrs. Ulmer began her career as a science teacher and currently serves our students in special education. Throughout nearly three decades in education, she has remained committed to doing what matters most — loving, supporting, challenging, and believing in students.

Mrs. Ulmer is a ROCK-STAR educator who truly loves working with children and serving the families of Bamberg County Schools. Her impact reaches far beyond reading, writing, and arithmetic. She is deeply invested in the whole child and consistently demonstrates care for her students’ academic, social, and personal well-being — both inside and outside the classroom.

Her compassion, dedication, experience, and unwavering commitment to students make her a world-class teacher and an incredible asset to the BEMS family.
