📢 SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS NEEDED FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR! 📢

Bamberg County School District will host a mandatory Substitute Teacher Workshop for individuals interested in serving as substitute teachers in our Bamberg and Denmark schools during the 2026-2027 school year.

📅 Date: Wednesday, June 24, 2026
🕘 Time: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
📍 Location: Denmark-Olar High School Cafeteria
197 Viking Circle, Denmark, SC 29042

⚠️ IMPORTANT:
✅ Attendance at this workshop is REQUIRED to be placed on the substitute teacher list for the 2026-2027 school year.
❌ If you do not attend, you will not be eligible to substitute teach.

⏰ Please arrive early. The workshop will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m., and participants arriving after 9:00 a.m. will not be permitted to enter.

The Bamberg County School District Board of Trustees will hold a Special Called Meeting on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room at the Bamberg County School District Office, located at 3830 Faust Street, Bamberg, SC.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the district's 2026–2027 Budget.

Dear Bamberg County School District Families, Staff, Students, and Community Members,

As we close the chapter on the 2025–2026 school year, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude and congratulations to everyone who played a role in making this year a success.

Our students have demonstrated resilience, growth, and achievement both inside and outside the classroom. Our teachers, administrators, and staff members have remained committed to providing a supportive and high-quality learning environment for every child. Parents, guardians, and community partners have continued to support our schools in countless ways, helping strengthen the educational experience for all students across Bamberg County School District.

This school year has been filled with accomplishments, milestones, and memorable moments that reflect the dedication and spirit of our entire school community. From academic achievements and athletic successes to fine arts performances there is much to celebrate and take pride in.

To our graduating Class of 2026, congratulations on reaching this important milestone. We are proud of your accomplishments and look forward to the positive impact you will make in the future.

As summer begins, I encourage everyone to take time to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends. Summer also provides an opportunity for reflection and preparation as we look ahead with excitement and optimism toward the 2026–2027 school year.

Together, we will continue building on the progress we have made and remain focused on providing the very best educational opportunities for all students in Bamberg County School District.
