MARFY members provide services through more than 200 programs across the state. Among our members, we have a large number of multi-service organizations providing a broad range of residential, nonresidential and educational programs and services. We have several smaller member agencies providing as few as one discrete service. We also have corporate sponsors that support our work and pro

Children and youth need support to cultivate and develop long-term relationships and trust in order to take steps toward their own long-term well-being. Family and You-Centered System of Care

The voice of providers is critical in order to achieve a high-quality system of care. The System of Care is Responsible for Long-Term Success

The system of care needs to attend to the needs of children and families throughout transitions in care and into their young adulthood. Give voice to children and families to enable the system to be more responsive to their needs.

The question is, "Do we show up for others based on our own beliefs and needs, or rather to meet the needs that are beneficial to the people we serve or are in relationship."

This event is not just about child welfare; it is crucially about serving the needs of others, whether as social workers, foster parents, relatives, partners, friends or community leaders.

Understanding needs requires direct engagement—listening & learning to the concerns and inequities. This ultimately enables us all to be empowered, informed, and to act from a place of selflessness, love & care.

You might think you're not part of the LGBTQIA+ community, but chances are, you know someone who is. That's why this event is for you too—to boost cultural competence, advocate diversity, and be a strong ally.

This national event promises to revolutionize our work & your world! Its impact extends beyond those directly engaged with youth and families, reaching into our workplace dynamics – not just among child welfare but all other sectors, as well how we show up in our familial connections.

We'll tackle inequities and disparities within the LGBTQIA+ community, particularly as they relate to child welfare services, discussing how identity intersects with challenges, and crafting equitable solutions together.

Join us virtually on Wednesday, June 5 at 6:30pm EST with renowned leaders in the space/agencies. It's open to any and everyone, especially foster care youth & foster care parents (Foster Parents will receive 2 training hours).
