Keep your benefits safe: We will never call or text you to ask for your EBT PIN or Social Security number. As we roll out new EBT cards, be alert for scams.

Please activate your new EBT card as soon as you receive it.

Finding the right training or employment opportunity just got easier.

DHS has launched a new interactive employment & training mapping tool that helps Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program customers find workforce opportunities by location and industry — including virtual, statewide options — making it easier to find the right fit.

Maryland also now has its largest-ever network of SNAP employment & training partner network, with 46 organizations providing customers with more opportunities to build skills, find employment, and move toward self-sufficiency.

Last summer, Maryland SUN Bucks set a historic precedent by helping provide food assistance to more than 630,000 Maryland children across all 24 jurisdictions in the state, thanks to the leadership of Governor Moore.

We encourage all Maryland families with SUN Bucks to use their benefits before they expire. "Use It or Lose It!" Make the most of your SUN Bucks while you can!

Kinship caregivers are relatives, family friends, or other adults with a meaningful connection to a child who step in to provide care for them when their parents are unable to. They provide stability, support, and a safe place to call home.

Community FarmShare operates nine Mobile Farm Markets across Montgomery County from June through November, offering fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables.

As part of our Meet Team DHS series, get to know Jasma, senior resource coordinator with the Baltimore City Office of Child Support Services, and learn how she and her team connect families with food, clothing, housing, child care, employment, and other resources. Through programs like the monthly food pantry, back-to-school giveaways, and employment and training services, Jasma helps families find the support they need.
