Congratulations to Sofia Grant, PhD student in History of Medicine, for receiving a 2026 Michael E. DeBakey fellowship from the National Library of Medicine! Sofia will be conducting research for her project “Diagnosing Uncertainty: Non-Specificity, Uncertain Knowledge, and the Management of Autoimmune Diseases Between the Laboratory and the Clinic” as part of her dissertation research on twentieth-century American biomedicine. https://www.nlm.nih.gov/hmd/get-involved/debakey-fellowship.html

Congrats to Alumnus Alex Parry and former postdocs Christy Slobogin and Iro Filippaki on publishing their research agenda on injury studies open-access with the Journal of Medical Humanities!
