I'm writing to you this morning to ask you to participate in a very important phone banking event that will be occurring every Thursday during October, from 6-8pm. These phone banks will focus on calling voters in swing states like Pennsylvania, trying to get out the vote in those areas. It is IMPERATIVE that as many young people as possible sign up and take part in these events!

BCYD expresses our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Joseph Lynn Kitchen. President Kitchen was a tireless advocate for young people and a consistent supporter of the Baltimore City Young Democrats.

It is with a heavy heart that the Young Democrats of Maryland share the news that our fearless leader, President Joseph Kitchen, has passed away. Leading YDM for the past 8 years, Joseph has been a passionate advocate for young people in politics, a mentor, and a dear friend to all of us. Joseph’s impact on YDM is truly immeasurable and he has left a legacy that will live on forever. Our love and support is with his family.

Joseph will be truly missed.

The Young Democrats of Maryland expresses its deepest condolences and sympathies to his family. The family has asked for privacy while they process this tremendous loss.

We were saddened to learn of the passing of Young Dems of Maryland President, Joseph Kitchen. Joseph worked tirelessly for change in Maryland. Joseph’s legacy will live on in all the young people he helped throughout his life. Rest well Joseph.
