Maryland State Library for the Blind & Print Disabled The Maryland State Library for the Blind & Print Disabled is Maryland's only public library for those who are unable to read standard print.

The mission of the Maryland State Library for the Blind and Print Disabled is to provide comprehensive library services to the eligible blind and print disabled residents of the State of Maryland. As a network library of the National Library Service, the MD LBPD's mission is to make print materials accessible to all Marylanders through digital talking books, braille, and digital download. The Maryland Library for the Blind & Print Disabled is a division of the Maryland State Library.
