Anyone seeking referrals to a City-funded emergency shelter must go through the Baltimore City Shelter Hotline. Please call ☎ 443-984-9540 or 2-1-1 to inquire about shelter availability. The Shelter Hotline is open Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.

This system is designed to provide a fast, streamlined, and equitable process for neighbors in need to enroll at participating emergency shelters and preserve client choice and dignity.
