The Belair-Edison School, Elementary, formerly Brehms Lane PCS Brehms Lane Public Charter School and Afya Public Charter School are now The Belair-Edison School. The school is operated by Afya Baltimore Inc. (www.mdpirc.org)

The Belair-Edison School serves students in pre-k through 8th grade across two campuses. (ABI), which also operates Tunbridge Public Charter School in Govans. “Afya” is a Swahili word for health. At the ABI schools, we focus on the intellectual, social/emotional, and physical health of our students. The Belair-Edison School is a schoolwide Title I school. You have the right to request information

regarding professional qualifications of your child's teacher(s), and of paraprofessionals who provide instructional services to their children.
