Founded in 1998, the Master of Arts in Arts Administration (MAAA) program at Goucher College was the first to offer a limited-residency format for a graduate program in arts administration. The MAAA program has a proven track record and a remarkable student/faculty ratio of almost 2 to 1. The purpose of the MAAA program is to prepare students for leadership roles in all aspects of arts administrat

ion and in all areas of the arts including theatre, dance, visual arts, museums, arts centers, arts councils, and arts education. Questions in Arts Administration:

• Do you want to keep your job & earn your master’s degree in arts administration at the same time?

• Would you like to study with national leaders?

• Do you believe in the importance of preparing for the entrepreneurial, global, and ever-changing world of arts administration?

• Do you want to establish networks and build professional relationships with leaders in arts administration?

• Do you want to engage in focused learning that is practical and immediately applicable? The MAAA with its limited-residency format offers all of these opportunities. Please go to www.goucher.edu/maaa to download an application, to examine our outstanding faculty members and guest speakers, and to see course options and schedules.

IN Series is rooted in boldness, and this weekend, it was on full display. 🎶

The first musical reading of composer Damien Geter & librettist Jarrod Lee’s Delta King’s Blues (our first-ever commissioned opera) left Sunday’s audience in awe.

Sunday’s audience was spellbound by the stunning performance, and the excitement for the World Premiere in December 2025 is only growing.

This weekend was truly one of the highlights of our organization’s history - and we’re just getting started! Stay tuned for more updates on this brand-new opera 🎭
