Anne Arundel County- Air Bag Theft Spree - Glen Burnie/Odenton /Crofton

Anne Arundel County Police responded to several Ait Bag Thefts in their jurisdiction.

City residents are encouraged to get a free Wheel Lock at the Southwest District. Additionally, community members throughout the area are encouraged to take the following precautions:

-Park in a well-lit and visible location.
-Lock all doors and close all windows.
-Use a visible steering-wheel lock or other anti-theft devices.
-Consider an alarm equipped with glass-break or impact detection.
-Ensure exterior lighting and security cameras cover the vehicle.
-Do not leave valuables or charging cables visible inside the vehicle.
-Report suspicious activity promptly & do not confront individuals.
-Review and preserve camera recordings of suspicious activity.
-Provide video & information directly to responding officers or investigators.

Our Southwest District officers continue working hard to help keep our communities safe. Through proactive police work and ongoing enforcement efforts, officers have recovered illegal fi****ms and dangerous substances from our streets, resulting in multiple arrests.
