Last week was a full one, and I loved every minute of it.

I started the day at the AI Personas Summit at the University of Baltimore School of Law (Official), where I had the honor of delivering opening remarks alongside Lieutenant Governor Aruna Miller and Provost Mueller. The conversation centered on one powerful question: What can we do today with this information that we couldn't do yesterday?

Baltimore is positioning itself as a leading AI city, and that work has to include every community.

From there, I joined 37 second-graders from Arundel Elementary School in Cherry Hill for an outdoor education field trip at The Environment at King's Eye. Watching our students connect with nature through sound healing, pond exploration, and pollinator discovery reminded me exactly why we fight for equitable access to every kind of learning experience.

Two very different rooms.
One consistent message.
District 10's future is worth every investment.

Last week, I joined the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce at the State of Baltimore Business Summit for a panel discussion on the state of legislation and what it means for Baltimore's economic future. It was great to be in the room alongside Senator Antonio Hayes and Delegate Marlon Amprey.

The questions on the table were the right ones: what policy changes can accelerate growth, how do we bridge the gap between government and the business community, and how do we ensure that prosperity reaches historically underserved neighborhoods? These are not just business questions. They are equity questions.

Baltimore's economy grows strongest when we grow together, and I am committed to making sure District 10 is part of that future.

June is Men's Health Month, and our office is showing up for it.

This month I am hosting a Men's Health Roundtable bringing together healthcare leaders, community organizations, educators, advocates, fathers, mentors, and residents to discuss the state of men's health in Baltimore City. From preventive care to mental health to fatherhood and health equity, our focus is on community-driven solutions that meet men and boys where they are.

Come be part of the conversation.

In partnership with the Mayor's Office of Older Adults Affairs and Advocacy - MOAAA and the Mayor's Office of Children & Family Success, I am hosting an Older Adult Town Hall this month in District 10.

Today is the final day of budget hearings, and most people don't know this, but you have a seat at the table, Baltimore. The budget isn't final yet. You can show up to the hearings, testify, and can ask the hard questions. This isn't sitting in the audience—this is active democracy, and the window is open right now.

$645 million of this year's budget goes to Baltimore's young people. That's 8,500 summer jobs. Pre-K. New rec centers. Investing in our kids requires a strategic approach, and it shows. Now you know where that money's going.
