Join us on March 20, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM for CTE & Academic Integration: Why, Where, and How.

What if CTE and academics did not just coexist, but powerfully reinforced one another? In this interactive session, the CTE TAC's Karyn Watt will unpack NYSED regulations surrounding integrated and specialized academics within CTE-approved programs and bring those requirements to life in practical, meaningful ways. Participants will explore why academic integration matters, where it is already happening, and how it can be expanded to meet commencement-level expectations with confidence. Through lesson samples and collaborative discussion, you will leave with concrete strategies for effective co-planning and co-teaching that strengthen curriculum, deepen rigor, and create authentic learning experiences that support both technical skill development and academic achievement.
