What started as a simple question-and-answer session with a motion-activated music box took an unexpected turn.

As the investigator asked if she should move farther down the hallway, the music box continued responding… almost as if something was leading her deeper into the darkness.

365 Days.

One year ago today, we signed the papers and became the caretakers of the Haunted Olde Park Hotel.

We knew we were buying a historic building.

We knew we were buying a haunted hotel.

What we didn’t know was how much this place would change our lives.

Over the last year we’ve painted walls, repaired floors, fixed plumbing, battled technology, hosted guests from all over the country, investigated strange experiences, made lifelong friends, and learned more history than we ever expected.

There have been victories.

There have been setbacks.

There have been moments where we questioned our sanity.

But there hasn’t been a single day we’ve regretted taking this journey.

To everyone who has stayed with us, investigated with us, watched our livestreams, supported our Patreon, attended our events, or simply cheered us on from the sidelines—thank you.

This building existed long before us and will hopefully stand long after us. We are simply the current chapter in a much larger story.

Thank you for helping make this first year one we’ll never forget.

The music box wasn't going off...so why could everyone hear it?

When a simple debunk session suddenly becomes an active investigation...

We were trying to solve a mystery involving a music box placed in the bathroom between two guest rooms. On camera, the music box sounded distorted, distant, and almost echo-like. Naturally, we assumed there had to be a logical explanation.

So we tested it.

Standing right next to the music box, it sounded completely normal.

Case closed...or so we thought.

A few moments later, the team monitoring cameras from the command center called upstairs and said, "It's doing it again."

The strange part? The music box wasn't activated.

Through the phone, we could clearly hear the same eerie music playing over the camera feeds downstairs, while the actual music box upstairs sat silent.

As we discussed how that could even be possible, Chad suddenly heard a growl directly in his ear.

At that moment, the debunk session ended and the investigation began.

What followed was a fascinating series of responses involving trigger objects, trip wires, and intelligent interaction that left us with more questions than answers.

Here is another clip from the same Estes Session this past weekend.
While talking to who we believe is one of the Madams, Shelly says, "There's lots of men, do you see them, they are that way" and the trip wire we have down the hallway lights up as if there were a line of people in the hallway.

⚠️ TURN YOUR VOLUME UP FOR THIS ONE. ⚠️

What began as a lighthearted Estes Method session quickly took a chilling turn.

Shelly sat alone in the upstairs hallway, blindfolded and wearing noise-isolating headphones, completely cut off from the world around her. The questions were flowing, the responses seemed playful, and the atmosphere felt surprisingly calm.

Then everything changed.

Without warning, a deep, guttural growl erupted from directly behind her.

The sound was loud enough to stop the entire group in their tracks.

Shelly never reacted.

She never flinched.

She never heard it.

Completely unaware, she continued the session while everyone else was left staring into the darkness, trying to understand what had just happened.

Was it an unexplained voice? A dark entity making its presence known? Or something else entirely?

It's going to be an interesting 8 days for our Lone Wolf Challenger, Dana Kawaja. Not long after we left her on her own Sunday afternoon, the spirts went straight to playing with her. Listen to these bangs coming from upstairs...Dana comes out of her room to see what the heck it was!
