Join Us for Baldwin’s Clean Up Day!

The Town of Baldwin is coming together for our annual Clean Up Day on Saturday, April 18th at 8:00 AM in observation of Louisiana’s Love the Boot Week!

Let’s work together to keep our community clean, beautiful, and something we can all be proud of!

Supplies will be provided
Wear comfortable clothing
Bring water
All ages are welcome

This is a great opportunity to give back, connect with your neighbors, earn community service, and make a real impact right here at home.

We hope to see you there, let’s show some love to the Boot and to Baldwin!

🚧 RAILROAD CROSSING CLOSURES – BALDWIN 🚧

Please be advised that the BNSF railroad crossings at HWY 83, Martin Luther King Jr. St., and Newman St. will be closed on March 19 for scheduled improvements.

🚫 All crossings will be temporarily closed while work is being completed.
✅ The planned reopening is March 20.

We encourage residents and visitors to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time during this closure.

Thank you for your patience as these improvements are made for the safety and reliability of our railroad crossings.

Dear St. Mary Parish Public School Families,

After monitoring weather forecasts, conferring with each municipality across the parish, and assessing all facilities, it has been determined that St. Mary Parish Public Schools will open tomorrow resuming a normal school day schedule.

It will be extremely cold at morning bus stops. Please dress children in warm layers underneath uniforms and bundle them up in outer wear.

Should anything drastic change overnight, you will be notified as early as possible first thing in the morning.
