Many people see these barricades and turn around and that is the CORRECT thing to do. Others see the “opening” on one side and think its for “local traffic to get thru” and that is dead WRONG! These barricades are in place for YOUR SAFETY!!!

PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE AROUND THE BARRICADES!!!!!

Flooding is occurring throughout Baldwin and surrounding communities. If you encounter a flooded roadway do not attempt to drive through it.

Streets Run Road is closed from Brentwood Road to the city line due to flooding.

Last night around 11:30 station 106 was alerted on the first alarm assignment to assist Jefferson Hills Fire Rescue with a working residential fire. Engines 3, 2 and the Truck responded. 106 Engines 2 and 3 arrived and assisted with suppression and overhaul. 106 Truck arrived on scene and laddered the structure before being assigned to overhaul. 106 Engines 1 & 4 transferred to station 301 to cover the south hills while units operated on scene. Crews remained on scene for about 2 hours before being released by command.

This morning 8/29/26 around 6am Baldwin Fire Rescue was alerted to a large water main break in the area of Ranchview and Colewood drive. Crews arrived to find water flowing into numerous homes with a large water main break and requested assistance from numerous mutual aid fire companies. Crews worked to dam and pump the water until PAWC could get the flow stopped. Baldwin Firefighters remained on scene for approximately 4 hours. And thank you to Brentwood Volunteer Fire Company, Station 116 for handling another call in our district while crews were committed.

We would like to thank Sen. Nick Pisciottano and Rep. John Inglis for their hard work in securing us a grant for our new fire prevention and public relations equipment and trailer. We are glad to finally complete the last steps of this project. The trailer is outfitted with a state of the art fire extinguisher training system and all of our fire prevention materials for schools and public relations details. We look forward to hitting the streets and schools with this in the near future.
