Topping Off Ceremony @ Baldwin Park High School. I can’t wait to see the completed gym. Our students deserve the best. The memories that will be made in this new gym will be remembered for years to come. I also wanted to pay tribute to the Classes of 1966, 67, and 68. I didn’t have time to write everyone’s name but you were in my thoughts. Once a brave, always a brave!

The Baldwin Park Unified School District (BPUSD) and the City of Baldwin Park (City) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) regarding Student Study Trips on February 14, 2023. The purpose of the MOU was to provide students in the Baldwin Park Unified School District additional opportunities above and beyond the base number of field trips previously offered, as to increase student access to these engaging learning experiences.

At last night's board meeting, we congratulated and honored a total of thirty-two students from Baldwin Park, North Park, and Sierra Vista High School, who will travel to Sacramento this coming June.

Thank you to the Baldwin Park City Council for your generous donation and continued support.

Town Hall Meeting on School Closures- I'd like to thank the parents, teachers, employees, students, and community members who came to last night's meeting despite the rain and poor weather conditions. Your thoughts, feedback, suggestions, and guidance were heard and appreciated. As board members, we represent you and our community; hearing from you firsthand was imperative. I was happy to hear that many of the expressed sentiments and ideas were those that the board has discussed. Although, on the surface, this may seem like a "not so fun" topic to discuss, we must leverage our resources and provide our students with as many opportunities as possible to ensure the best education. Thank you to the administration and staff members who made this possible.

Future Town Hall Meetings on School Closures
5:00 to 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, March 23 @ Jones Middle School
Tuesday, April 4 @ BP STEM Academy
