🔉 City Council Meeting will be held in-person and virtually at 7:00pm on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Valley County Water District Headquarters will be open to the public for their regularly scheduled City Council Meeting. VCHQ is located at 5121 Lante St.
🏫 Individuals wishing to participate in public comments may do so in-person, via Zoom, or by submitting written comments to the City Clerk Department.

🎁The holidays are just around the corner, and we’re here to help make them a little brighter! 💙 Applications for the Holiday Food Basket Program will be available Tuesday, September 8 through Thursday, December 3, 2026 at the Teri G. Muse Family Service Center and Esther Snyder Community Center.
🍗 Each basket includes frozen chickens, boxed items, fresh vegetables, fruits, and canned goods!

Our latest Art in the Park DIY Series was full of creativity, family fun, and a whole lot of pumpkin power! Residents of all ages got crafty and designed their very own ceramic pumpkin coasters, because even your coffee table deserves a little fall flair. ☕🎨
From little artists to big artists, it was so much fun seeing everyone put their own creative spin on the craft! 🧡
And guess what? We’re doing it again! 👀🎃

🚨 TRAFFIC ADVISORY | SEPTEMBER 14–18 🚧
The City is advising residents and motorists of planned overnight lane and ramp closures on Interstate 605 (I-605) between the cities of Santa Fe Springs and Baldwin Park from Monday, September 14, through Friday, September 18.
🛣️ Caltrans will be conducting paving and enhancement work along the corridor. As construction progresses, ramps in both directions will be closed sequentially. No two consecutive ramps will be closed at the same time.
🚗 Motorists traveling through the area are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time, and consider using Interstate 710 (I-710) or Interstate 5 (I-5) as alternate routes. Please follow all posted signage, exercise caution in construction areas, and drive safely.
🙏 The City appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation while this necessary roadway work is underway.

La Ciudad informa a los residentes y conductores sobre los cierres nocturnos programados de carriles y rampas en la Interestatal 605 (I-605), entre las ciudades de Santa Fe Springs y Baldwin Park, del lunes 14 de septiembre al viernes 18 de septiembre.
🛣️ Caltrans llevará a cabo trabajos de pavimentación y mejoras a lo largo de este corredor. A medida que avancen los trabajos, las rampas en ambas direcciones se cerrarán de manera secuencial. No se cerrarán dos rampas consecutivas al mismo tiempo.
🚗 Se recomienda a los conductores que transiten por el área planificar con anticipación, considerar tiempo adicional para sus viajes y utilizar la Interestatal 710 (I-710) o la Interestatal 5 (I-5) como rutas alternativas. What is Measure CR?
Measure CR is the Baldwin Park Good Government Cannabis Reform Measure, which will appear on the November 3, 2026 Municipal Election ballot.
If approved by voters, Measure CR would apply the same existing 4% tax rate currently levied on retail cannabis businesses to non-retail cannabis businesses operating in Baldwin Park.
Measure CR is not a tax on residents or homeowners.

El Grito de Dolores at Susan Rubio Zocalo Park was filled with delicious food 🌮, arts & crafts 🎨, music, dancing, and community pride as we celebrated Mexican Independence Day! ❤️💚🤍
A special thank you to Grupo Folklórico Estrellas de Los Ángeles and Mariachi California de Bruce Flores for the incredible performances, and to Consul Fernando Lopez Vargas from Consulado General de México en Los Ángeles for leading the official Grito de Dolores ceremony! 💃🎺✨
The evening also honored the history behind El Grito de Dolores, commemorating the call for independence that began Mexico’s fight for freedom in 1810. 🇲🇽🔔
A celebration of history, culture, and the traditions that continue to bring our community together. ❤️💚🤍
