Public Service Recognition Week continues as we highlight those who keep our cities running strong every day.

Russel Harding has served the City of Baldwin City in multiple roles, beginning in code enforcement and now as City Administrator. Beyond his official duties, he’s deeply involved in supporting local youth through 4-H, school transportation efforts, and community fundraising—making a meaningful impact both inside and outside of city government.

The Kansas Municipal Utilities - KMU conference was a great time for the Bennett Beam team, connecting with new people and strengthening relationships with those we've known and worked with for years.

It's nice to be home and rest this weekend before we dive back in next week!

Happy First Contact Day! Live long and prosper.

We wish everyone a very happy First Contact Day. It was April 5th, 2063, when the people of Earth were first contacted by our Vulcan friends, proving once and for all that we are not alone in our vast universe. Today, we remember this significant moment at First Contact National Historical Park near Bozeman, Montana. May we all live long and prosper.

Jason York is the other IT Consultant on the team, and is not a stranger to either the world of IT or the other members of Bennett Beam. Jason and Chase LeMaster were best friends as teenagers and stayed close through the years, even though their lives went separate ways. Working together now is one of life's interesting coincidences, and one both will tell you is a gift.

Jason is generally cool, calm, and collected and can put out fires with his logical questions. He is absolutely going to ask you if you restarted your device, but he won't make you feel stupid. He may also suggest you try eating a snickers bar to calm down. Maybe that's just for Chase though? 🤔
