Giving For Good 2025 Facebook Post - SFTHS

Help Santa Fe Trail Historical Society share local history with the community online!

Santa Fe Trail Historical Society of Douglas County and Baldwin City Public Library are working together in the 2025 DCCF** Giving For Good Campaign, Dec 2 – 31, 2025. (** Douglas County Community Foundation)

-Funds are being raised to scan, index, and upload the historical records from the library’s Kansas Room (history room) to make them available online.
-Your support for this project builds our capacity to share Douglas County history with current and future generations.
-The first $2500 donated will be matched 100% by the generous BCPL Friends of the Library!
-Every dollar donated will be matched 50% by charitable DCCF donors!

Join us tomorrow at 5:00pm at Baldwin First United Methodist Church. We are having our Fall potluck. Bring a side or dessert, meat will be provided. The speaker will be Dr. Nicholaus Pumphrey of Baker University who will talk about his recent archaeological dig at the Prairie City Catholic Mission.
