Accident was reported between the intersections of Fredericksburg/Hillcrest and Gentleman/Hillcrest at 1:05PM.

SEEK ALTERNATIVE ROUTE. Affected areas are closed. No injures were reported.

Earlier today, BHPD and BHFD responded to a major traffic accident along the IH-10 access road at VIA Crossroads Rd., near the VIA Park & Ride. The initial call for service was received at approximately 4:37 p.m.

The incident caused significant traffic congestion in the area while emergency crews worked the scene.

The scene has been cleared, and traffic is now flowing normally.

One individual was transported to a local hospital. Their condition is currently unknown.

We appreciate the public’s patience as first responders worked to safely manage the scene.
