👋 Hello, Lost Hills friends!

Starting on September 8, the Bookmobile will be at Lost Hills Park every other Tuesday from 9:30-11:30 AM. Whether you're a longtime library user or visiting us for the first time, we'd love to help you discover everything the library has to offer.

Sign up for a library card, browse and check out materials, or request items for pickup on our next visit. We can't wait to connect with the Lost Hills community. See you at the park!

Worried about late fees for overdue library books? Good news--you can easily renew your items from the Kern County Library in four different ways! 📚
💻 Online: Log into the "My Account" section on the Kern County Library website using your library card and PIN.
📲 Mobile App: Download the ValleyCat app to renew items directly from your phone.
☎ Phone (Tele-messaging): Call the automated system at (866) 290-8681 with your library card number and PIN.
🚶‍♂️ In Person: Visit your local branch and speak with staff at the circulation desk.
💡 Good to know: Most items can be renewed up to two times (as long as no one else has placed a hold on them)--meaning you could keep a favorite book for up to 3 months straight! Note: If your book is already overdue, you'll just need to ask a staff member to process the renewal for you.
