Bakersfield Elementary Middle School We are a small pre K - 8 school in Bakersfield, Vermont. Bakersfield Elementary Middle School is a pre K-8 school in Bakersfield, Vermont.

We are a PBIS school and our three school wide expectations are Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Ready to Learn. Our pre school program serves 3 year old children and families two sessions weekly, and 4 year old children and families three sessions weekly. Our Kindergarten through grade 5 program is organized with a self-contained class at each level. Grades 6-8 operate as a middle school. We currently enroll 155 students. We have 18 teachers, 7 para educators and 5 support staff. Our school is governed and guided by a 5 member board of school directors. Our school district is a member district of the Franklin Northeast Supervisory Union.
