Tuesday, June 2, Louie Cruz Beltran will bring his “Rhythm and Roots” music program to the Library. This event is a fun, interactive, and an all-inclusive exploration of the origins and evolution of Afro Cuban rhythms. The event will start at
12 PM.

Wednesday, June 3, Emily Guthrie (Planz Elementary Principal) will stop by for a mini storytime and read to the kids during "Lunch at the Library." This is part of our "Leaders are Readers" program. Lunch starts at 12 PM.

💚🩵 SLIME TIME was a squishy success! 💜🧪

Things got messy in the best way possible!

Our library kids mixed up colorful creations, stretched some super slimy masterpieces, and had tons of gooey fun together. 🌈✨

From glittery swirls to bright neon slime, everyone got creative and embraced the mess! Thanks to everyone who joined us for this slippery, colorful afternoon at the library! 😄🫧

✨ Bead by bead, friendship was made! 💖📿

Our Bead Maxxing was full of creativity, colorful beads, and lots of fun conversations!

Our patrons designed their own unique bracelets, traded beads, and left with handmade accessories and new memories. 🌈✨

The Summer Reading Challenge is just around the corner! This year’s theme is Plant a Seed, Read. Read 10 books or read for 10 hours to receive a free book from the Friends of the Library, Inc. and other prizes (while supplies last)! We invite you for our kick off Tuesday, June 2nd 2026. Lunch at the Library is served Tuesday-Saturday from 12:00PM-1:00PM for anyone 2-18!
