City of Bakersfield Animal Control This page is dedicated to providing information regarding Animal Control. City of Bakersfield Animal Control is dedicated to serving the community.

We are open 7 days a week from 8am - 5pm. We have Animal Control Officers (ACOs) on call 24/7 in case of an animal related emergency. This page is NOT to be used as a reporting system. For animal related complaints or questions, you can contact us at 661-326-3436 or after hours at 661-327-7111. We will use this page to post photos of the animals picked up by ACOs, with information on how to claim, public event notifications, and resources as they become available.
