A utility contractor working in the Climax area has severed a main fiber line that feeds our service. As a result, customers served by dedicated lines are currently experiencing an outage.

Good news: Our Fiber to the Home customers are not impacted, as our backup system is actively maintaining service.

Repair crews are en route and will begin splicing the damaged line shortly. We estimate full service restoration by 10:00 PM tonight.

We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue quickly and safely.

There has been a copy of an email you may have seen which was sent only to our 42 governmental and industrial dedicated fiber network customers .

The scheduled maintenance for Friday, September 5 will NOT impact Bainbridge Fiber to the Home customers. The Bainbridge Fiber to the Home Network now has a redundant or back up system in place to prevent outages like the outage experienced on August 21st.

Shortly after 4:00AM, fiber service was restored. We are thankful for our crews who worked through the night and also thankful for our customers' patience.

Another telecommunications company hit an underground line of Bainbridge Fiber's while doing work in the Hidden Springs area that has impacted the outage. We estimate that will take approximately 3 hours to complete the splicing of the fibers to restore service.
