7:00PM - FISHING FOR THE YOUNGER SET. Meet at the Nature Center
8:00PM - CREPUSCULAR CANOEING. Meet at the Nature Center

EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE IN THESE PROGRAMS!

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Friends of LAKE WHITE STATE PARK...

We are putting in a "Community Pollinator Flower Garden" at the Boater Education Center! We are asking for donations of NATIVE OHIO FLOWERS to plant in this garden. The garden is in FULL SUN. What is currently there will be taken out and the plants that are donated will be planted in the garden. The following are some NATIVE OHIO FLOWERS that we are looking for:

Purple Cone Flower
Butterfly W**d
Black Eyed Susan
Bee Balm/Wild Bergamot
New England Aster
Ohio Spiderwort
Hibiscus (Swamp Rose Mallow/Halberd Leaf Rose Mallow)
Lobelia (Cardinal/Great Blue)
Ohio Goldenrod
Eastern Red Columbine
Blue False Indigo
Ironweed

Your donations of plants would be greatly appreciated and will add beauty to your Ohio State Park!

Plants can be dropped off at Lake White Boater Education Center Monday-Friday from 10:00am-2:00pm or at Pike Lake State Park Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm.

August is FAMILY FUN MONTH so come on out to PIKE LAKE STATE PARK and enjoy the last bit of summer! Fishing, swimming, camping, cabin rentals, boat rentals, disc golf, Naturalist Programs and so much more!
