● Early Friday Morning: Rain and thunderstorms will develop to our southwest and spread northeastward into the local area between Midnight-6 AM. Storms may be slightly elevated (reducing risk for damaging winds/tornadoes), but may still produce gusty winds and perhaps small hail.

● Friday Afternoon: The axis of morning rain/storms will drift slowly southeastward and out of the region (into southern MS-central AL-north GA) by early afternoon, but may continue to impact our southeastern counties.

● Friday Evening: Early Saturday Morning: Low pressure will track northeastward from east TX into the TN Valley, and a warm/unstable air mass will attempt to move northward into our region. Should this occur, a risk for strong-severe thunderstorms will materialize once again. However, the most likely scenario is for
the most unstable air mass to remain to our south. Regardless, widespread moderate-heavy rain and embedded storms will increase the risk for flash flooding.

● Late Saturday Morning: Cold front sweeps southeastward ending precipitation from NW-to-SE by early afternoon. A few strong storms and locally heavy rain will still be possible until the cold front clears the region.
