NEVER FORGET— September 11, 2026
25 years ago today, our nation was attacked. We remember the nearly 3000 lives taken, the families left with open chairs, and the heroes who ran towards the fire instead of away from it.
As someone who has worn the uniform and now serves in law-enforcement, 9/11 is not just a date on the calendar. It is a reminder of why we do this work: to protect our neighbors, stand between our community and harm, and never take for granted the freedom and safety so many paid for with their lives.
Today we honor:
* The first responders who climbed the stairs
* The passengers who fought back
* Every service member who has deployed since that morning
* The families who still carry the loss
We will never forget.
God bless the families of the fallen.
God bless our first responders and veterans.
God bless America.

I had such a great time in Rice Lake today! The beautiful weather and the clear skies made for a perfect Sunday afternoon.
I really enjoyed meeting some new people catching up with all the acquaintances, and having so many great conversations. I especially appreciate all of the thoughtful questions and opportunities to visit with people one on one.
It was also great to see the kids having so much fun with the games, face, painting, and bubble stations. Seeing their smiles and watching families, enjoy the afternoon together made the day even better.
Most of all, I truly appreciate everyone who took the time out of their Sunday afternoon to come out, spend some time with us, and show their support. It means more to me than I can say.

As a veteran, there are certain events that mean a little more to me personally, and the Ride for the Stones is definitely one of them.
I was incredibly proud to be asked to help es**rt the 13th Annual Ride for the Stones out of town. Each year, the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office has the privilege of leading the riders out of town, and this was the third time I’ve had the honor of being a part of it.
The Ride for the Stones raises money to purchase memorial paver stones honoring deceased veterans at the Clearwater County Veterans Memorial. Every one of those stones represents a person who served our country, a family who remembers them, and a story that deserves to be honored.
Events like this always bring me back to my own time in the military and the years I spent serving as an infantryman. They remind me of the people I served alongside, the friendships that were made, and what service and sacrifice really mean.
What struck me most today was seeing so many people come together to support this ride and the veterans it honors. That kind of support means more than people may realize.
I’m proud to have served our country. I’m proud to have had the opportunity to take part in this ride. And I’m especially proud to live in a community that continues to remember and honor those who served.
Clearwater County truly is an amazing place to call home.

We had a great time at the Apple festival at Rice Lake community center! It was such a beautiful day to get out, visit with our neighbors, and meet so many wonderful people from around the community!
I had the opportunity to talk with lots of great folks, hear what’s important to them, answer questions and simply enjoy some good conversation. These are the moments that make being part of a community so special.
A great big thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and visit with us! We truly appreciate your support and the time you took to get to know me.
We’re looking forward to continuing to travel around Clearwater County meeting more of you and hearing your thoughts about the future of our county and Sheriff’s Office.

What a great weekend at Lake Itasca Region Pioneer Farmers Show!🚜🇺🇸
It was a beautiful weekend celebrating our areas rich agricultural history, hard-working families, and their tradition that make our community so special.
I always enjoy getting out meeting people, and taking time to appreciate the history and heritage of Clearwater County and the surrounding communities. There’s something pretty special about seeing those old machines still running and hearing the stories behind them!
