K–6 Childcare Transportation Reminder: Families requesting transportation to or from a childcare provider for the 2026–2027 school year must submit a completed transportation request form by August 3, 2026. Forms are available on the Babylon UFSD website under Departments → Transportation.

A monster meetup of the most creative kind recently brought together students from across grade levels as Babylon Junior-Senior High School's National Art Honor Society visited Babylon Elementary School for a fun and collaborative art project.

Babylon Junior-Senior High School recently bid a bittersweet farewell to its Class of 2026. The commencement served as both a celebration of past achievements and a launching pad for the future, with each speaker offering wisdom to guide the graduates forward.

Last month, members of the Babylon Junior-Senior High School Class of 2027 teamed up with local nonprofit Babylon Strong to host a Color Run fundraiser in support of a younger peer at the school who is battling leukemia. The event drew a strong showing of community support, with more than 150 participants. All proceeds from the run were donated via Babylon Strong directly to the student and their family to help with ongoing needs.

Babylon Elementary School students and staff recently marked the start of the summer season with a special Flag Day ceremony, summer reading kick-off, and a salute to the nation's upcoming 250th birthday.

The event featured a festive assembly that blended patriotism with a love of literacy. Students enjoyed patriotic sing-alongs, DJ music, bubbles, and prizes courtesy of the Babylon Public Library. The 11th NY Regiment of the U.S. Army Reserves provided flag-folding demonstrations and displayed a World War II jeep, while a special visit from the Suffolk Libraries Empowering Discovery Bus helped inspire summer reading excitement!

Babylon Memorial Grade School's 5th and 6th grade Mock Trial team was recently honored after taking part in the Western Suffolk BOCES Mock Trial Competition, held in March at Suffolk County Community College's Selden Campus. Great job team!

Babylon Junior-Senior High School is proud to announce that senior and Class of 2026 valedictorian Cassidy Hayes has been named a National Merit Finalist in the 71st annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Cassidy was among over 1.3 million students who entered the competition and advanced from just 16,000 Semifinalists nationwide—less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors. As a Finalist, she remains in the running for one of approximately 6,930 scholarships worth nearly $26 million to be offered this spring. Congratulations Cassidy!
