After making one of the biggest career changes, Annmarie continues to show up and show out! From attending events and meetings to supporting fundraisers and always being there for Lindy, her dedication and community spirit never go unnoticed. ❤️💙 579 ITEMS. ONE COMMUNITY. A BIG IMPACT. 💙❤️

On Friday, October 9th, Babylon Rotary member Barbara came together to support the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church Food Pantry in Farmingdale!

Our food pantry shopping initiative provided 579 essential food items to help stock the pantry shelves, including pancake mix, canned pasta meals, mac & cheese, canned chicken breast, and sweet peas. 🛒🥫

Patty Vorillas welcomed us, and with the help of Elaine Rios, we delivered the items and filled the pantry’s empty shelves. Rev. Fr. Elias Pappas expressed his gratitude for Babylon Rotary’s donation.

This pantry serves more than 400 families twice a month, providing food and essential items to anyone in need.

We recently completed two shopping trips to help support local food pantries and organizations serving members of our community who need a helping hand.

Last week, we were proud to welcome **Teresa Striker and Stephnie Robb from the American Cancer Society** to our Babylon Rotary meeting.

They shared more about the **Making Strides Against Breast Cancer movement here on Long Island**, the impact of the event, and the importance of coming together as a community to support those affected by breast cancer.

📣 **SAVE THE DATE, BABYLON ROTARY!**

Join us for our next club meeting on **Wednesday, September 23 at 12:30 PM at the LI Yacht Club.**

We’re excited to welcome **Pastor Brad Morgan**, who recently traveled to Honduras and personally delivered the **six laptops and laboratory equipment** donated by Babylon Rotary to **Utila Methodist Community College.** 💻🌎

Pastor Brad will share firsthand updates from the trip, the delivery, and how the new computer lab is already helping students on Utila.

This is an exciting milestone in our **“Bridging the Digital Divide”** project — and a great opportunity to see the impact our club is making beyond our own community. ❤️

We hope you’ll join us, hear the story firsthand, and celebrate what **Service Above Self** can accomplish when we work together.
