Magnolia’s High Five Friday was full of positive energy!🎉🙌

District and school staff, along with our local police officers, lined the gates to welcome students with high fives, smiles, and lots of positive vibes. Bubbles🫧 filled the air as our WILD Mustangs walked in feeling excited, supported, and ready to learn.🤩

It was a great day to be a Mustang!🐎💙

The Natural History Mobile Museum rolled onto Magnolia’s campus! 🚌🔍🌿

Our WILD Mustangs in grades 3–5 became archaeologists for the day by excavating artifacts, analyzing clues, and learning about the Chumash peoples of California through hands-on exploration.

From the mobile museum to classroom labs, students practiced real scientific thinking and discovered history in an exciting, interactive way! 🧪🦴

Magnolia hosted a special Volunteer Gratitude Brunch to celebrate our incredible parent volunteers!💙✨

Volunteers enjoyed a delicious breakfast, pastries, and time together as we recognized their dedication and support to our school community. Each volunteer also received a Certificate of Recognition and gift as a token of our appreciation for the time, care, and effort they give to our students and school.

Thank you for helping make Magnolia such a supportive and welcoming place for our WILD Mustangs. We truly appreciate all that you do! 🐴✨

Mrs. Abalo visited classrooms to share helpful testing tips and get students excited for the upcoming state test. Students also received special success packs to help them feel confident and prepared.

📚❤️ Reading Buddies During Read Across America Week! ❤️📚

During Read Across America Week, students in Mrs. Guillen’s 2nd grade class teamed up with their reading buddies from Mrs. Munoz’s kindergarten class for a special reading time together.

Our older students loved sharing stories and helping their younger Mustang friends build a love for reading. Moments like these create meaningful connections and make reading even more fun!

Our teachers and staff enjoyed a well-deserved day of care and connection at Magnolia’s Wellness Gathering, thoughtfully organized by our amazing social worker, Ms. Jennifer.💙

Throughout the day, staff were able to stop by during their breaks to relax, recharge, and take a moment for themselves. Stations included mindfulness tools with affirmation cards, journaling with creative supplies and techniques, and meditation practices with daily meditation cards. There were also massage chairs for extra relaxation, along with coffee, tea, fresh fruit, and snacks to enjoy.✨

A special thank you to Creative Passion Partners Wellness Center for visiting our school and sharing valuable wellness resources with our team.

Taking care of our staff matters, because when we feel our best, we give our best to our WILD Mustangs 🐎✨

✨🎭 The Imagination Machine Visits Magnolia! 🎭✨

Our WILD Mustangs experienced the magic of storytelling come to life as The Imagination Machine brought student-written stories to the stage! Selected students had their original stories transformed into short theatrical performances and performed in front of their peers during a special school assembly.

This unforgettable experience celebrates creativity, imagination, and the power of student voice. ✨📖

To make the day even more special, participating students were honored with a Certificate of Writing Achievement at the end of the show! 🏆

Way to go, WILD Mustangs, keep dreaming, writing, and shining! 💙🐎

🛍️⭐ WILD Mustang Market Fun! ⭐🛍️

Students had the opportunity to shop at the WILD Mustang Market, where they used the merits they earned for meeting WILD expectations.

The Mustang Market is always a huge hit with students! Not only is it exciting to pick out items, but it also helps students practice managing their merits while using basic addition and subtraction skills in a fun, real-world way.

Great job Mustangs for showing your WILD expectations! 🐎💙

🧮✨ Math Parent Workshop Success! ✨🧮
Magnolia families had the opportunity to learn fun and effective math strategies to support their children with homework and help build strong foundational math skills at home.

The workshop was led by our district TOSA, who guided parents through engaging strategies and activities that make math meaningful and accessible for students. Parents explored ways to strengthen number sense and problem-solving skills while making math fun at home.
