If you receive a phone call from Chief Rogers (𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘭𝘢𝘨 🚩) requesting payment for citations or warrants (𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘭𝘢𝘨 🚩) via Bitcoin or Cryptocurrency (𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘳𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘭𝘢𝘨 🚩), please hang up and call Azle PD Dispatch at 817-444-3221 to verify who is calling and/or report the fraudulent activity.

We have received several reports of fraudsters impersonating law enforcement to obtain money. We will never call you and demand payment or financial information over the phone. If you believe someone has attempted to scam you, please call us to report it.

Stop by the Fire Department located at 900 Lakeview Drive between 4:00 - 6:00 PM to ensure your children are being buckled up correctly! Don't forget to bring your child - a limited number of replacement care seats will be available 𝙖𝙩 𝙣𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙨𝙩 to families in need.

🚧 Back-to-School Traffic Alert: Stribling Drive 🚧

Cement stabilization on Stribling Dr. will continue through Thursday this week.

We know school starts Wednesday, and crews will work to keep the area as easily passable as possible. However, this is still an active construction zone, so please allow extra time if you must travel this route.

Work will move daily in smaller sections between the south entrance of Shady Grove Park and the intersections at Stribling Circle, Madeline Court and Gary Drive. The entire roadway will not be closed at once, but available routes will change each day.

Paving is expected to begin Monday, August 17. As always, we will post any updates we receive.
