Today is the 5K Fun Run and Walk! The race will start at town hall and end at the municipal park. Everyone can start coming to town hall at 9 for a prompt start at 10.

If you are coming for the fun festivities, we will see you at the park!

There will only be one lane closed on Doar Road between town hall and the park and only while runners and walkers are on the road.

We are excited to see everyone today!

Town of Awendaw Wetlands Sub-Committee Meeting Notice

September 8th, 2026 at 3:00 PM. The Town of Awendaw Wetlands Sub-Committee will hold its next meeting on:

The purpose of this meeting is to continue discussions regarding the Town’s Wetlands Ordinance and related matters as directed by Town Council.
A copy of the meeting agenda is available on the Town of Awendaw Special Committees webpage and may also be viewed at Town Hall during normal business hours.

👟 Adults: $30 Registration Fee\
👟 Children (12 & Under): $20 Registration Fee
Town of Awendaw residents can register for the 5K Fun Run/Walk by picking up a registration form at Town Hall, visiting the Town website, or registering online here: 5K Fun Run/Walk Online Registration

Town of Awendaw Back-to-School Event!

Join us for the Back-to-School Event at Town Hall on Saturday August 8th! The Town of Awendaw is bringing back our Back-to-School Event on Saturday, August 8, from 3 PM to 6 PM.

We are STILL accepting donations at Town Hall during our normal operating hours. ​
If you are coming to the event, we ask that you complete a Pre-Registration form. This will assist staff in planning the event.
We've extended Pre-Registration! We ask that this form be submitted to Town Hall before 5pm on August 7th.
If you have questions or would like more information about the event, please get in touch with Town Hall at 843-928-3100 or email our Town Administrator, Katharine Watkins, at [email protected].
