On Saturday 14MAR26 the Arleigh Burke Division went to visit the Atterbury-Bakalar Aviation Museum. The cadets got to see the inside of a C-119 aka the "Flying Boxcar" built in 1952 and restored by the Museum. They learned the history of the area and what important role the airfield played in WWII. The cadets also got to see 3 Air Guard C-130Js practice touch 'no go's.

What an awesome opportunity for the US Naval Sea Cadets! Cadet will be participating in the Homecoming 250 parade in Philadelphia THIS COMING MONDAY. This is just one of the many opportunities sea cadets get to do as part of the program. While our unit is not a part of it, we will be celebrating at it upcoming drill. Check out the live footage of the parade on YouTube at CBS Philadelphia.

“This Memorial Day weekend, our cadets had the honor of assisting in the ADA section of the Indianapolis 500 Parade! From helping guests find their seats to ensuring everyone had a safe and enjoyable experience, our cadets proudly represented the values of service, respect, and community. We are so proud of their professionalism and dedication. Great job, team!

NSCC cadet Seaman Apprentice Alyssa Bush was awarded the DAR Ribbon and Medal for distinguishing herself through honor courage, service, patriotism, and outstanding leadership. Congratulations SA Bush!!!!!

April drill was a great success, the Arleigh Burke Division was joined by a fellow unit the Indy Sea Cadets (Cruiser Indianapolis CA-35). Cadets learned the basics of marksmanship and all safety procedures when handling a firearm. Sea Cadets and League cadets performed there Marksmanship Qualifications and some earned there Marksmanship ribbon. We at the Arleigh Burke Division would like to give our thanks to Deb Cheek, Jeremy Weatherman and our very own Instructor John Trone for teaching all cadets the proper safety procedures when handling fi****ms.

All cadets and adult volunteers had an absolute blast camping out under the stars and learning Marksmanship. THANK YOU!!!!
