📅 Mark your calendars for National Night Out 2026!

The Avon Police Department invites the Avon community to join us for an exciting evening of community, connection, and fun.

📍 Where: Blue Heron Park (Avon Town Hall Park)
📆 When: Tuesday, October 6, 2026
🕓 Time: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

This event is all about building a stronger, safer neighborhood through police-community partnerships. Bring the whole family out to enjoy:

Free Activities
🎈 Family Fun Activities – Games and entertainment for kids of all ages.
🚔 Police Displays & Demonstrations – Get a close-up look at our equipment and meet the team.
🎪 Local Organizations & Vendors – Discover resources and support from around our community.

Food Truck Corral
🍔 Food Truck Corral – Grab a bite from delicious local vendors.
Please note: Each food truck features its own menu and pricing. Come prepared with cash or a debit/credit card, as some trucks may be cash-only.

This year, our gathering comes with a special opportunity to support one of our own. We will be collecting donations at the event for a dedicated town employee who was recently injured on the job. Please join us in congratulating Officer Adam Sajdak on his graduation from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy on August 21st!

Officer Sajdak successfully completed his academy training as a member of the 239th Basic Class. He'll now return to Avon and complete the field training portion of his training.

His dedication, hard work, and commitment to serving others have prepared him for his career in law enforcement.

The traffic signal at US Highway 36 and Ronald Reagan Parkway is flashing red in all directions. Please avoid the area if possible and expect travel delays.

PLEASE treat this as a 4-way stop until INDOT is able to check the signal.
