🐝 Avon is joining the 2026 Parks for Pollinators BioBlitz- and it starts right now! 🌼

Throughout September, help us document bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, bats, native plants, and more in Blue Heron Park and White Lick Trail using the iNaturalist app.

As a proud Bee City USA affiliate, this project helps us protect and understand pollinator plants and species in our area... plus it gives you a reason to get outside and connect with nature. 🐝

🐝 The Town of Avon Parks & Recreation Department is proud to participate in the 2026 Parks for Pollinators BioBlitz throughout the month of September!

This nationwide initiative encourages residents to explore local parks, observe pollinators and native plants, and document their discoveries using the iNaturalist app. Every observation helps build a better understanding of the biodiversity that makes our parks thrive.

As a Bee City USA affiliate, we are so excited to get started! So grab your phone, visit Blue Heron Park or the White Lick Trail, and join us in celebrating the bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, bats, plants, and other pollinators that call this place home! Stay tuned for info on a group trail walk event to help us find our pollinators!
