Road closure information received from Noble County:

OLD SR 3 FROM SR 205 TO BASELINE ROAD WILL BE CLOSED FOR ROAD CONSTRUCTION.

STARTING MAY 26 THROUGH JULY 30, 2026

OLD SR 3 WILL BE RECEIVING A STRUCTURAL HMA OVERLAY. DETOUR ROUTE SIGNAGE AND PRE-CLOSURE SIGNAGE IS CURRENTLY BEING INSTALLED.

Recently, several buildings, signs, and other public and private properties in our community have been vandalized with graffiti. This kind of damage affects all of us and takes away from the pride we have in keeping Avilla safe, welcoming, and clean.

If you have any information, witnessed suspicious activity, or notice individuals out during late-night hours acting suspiciously around businesses, parks, or neighborhoods, please contact the Avilla Police Department.

Community partnership is one of our strongest tools in preventing crime. By working together, we can stop these acts quickly and protect the place we all call home.

Keeping our community safe and clean remains our number one priority.

Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPSTs) will be on site to assist and guide you in properly installing your child’s car seat in the safest way possible.

Recent heavy rainfall has caused high water levels and multiple washed-out roads and culverts across the area.
DO NOT drive through standing water or around barricades. The depth and condition of the roadway beneath are often impossible to judge and can be extremely dangerous.
Please slow down, stay alert, and report any hazardous road conditions to us at 260-636-2182 Ext 1 for Dispatch.
