We had a great question about fire restrictions and how they affect riders so here is some info:

As of right now we are in Stage 1 fire restrictions. This does not affect riders and mostly has to do with camp fires and smoking. STARTING TUESDAY JULY 14, we will move into Stage 2 fire restrictions. This will require that any bikes being operated have an intact spark arrester in the muffler. When you can ride will not be restricted, but as always you must stay on designated trails. Any cross-country travel is prohibited. Also, any operation of a chainsaw or other equipment powered by an internal combustion engine will be prohibited between the hours of 1:00 pm and 1:00 am. Additionally, if you do use a chain saw (thanks for the help) you must patrol that area 1 hour following its use to make sure no fires were started.

TRAIL UPDATE! The following trails were logged out this week:

•Tr 251 Gold Center - We put up new signage where the trail intersects with Road 1903. You can now continue on trail 251 and no longer need to take Rd 1903.

•Tr 226 Dam Creek Divide - from Prince Peak to Road 1907
