Highlights from this month’s Aventura City Commission Meeting 💙

The City recognized members of the Charter Revision Commission for their important work reviewing the City Charter, with a certificate presented to Sandra Krumbein, who was in attendance.

We also honored Detective Sandra Marquez and Detective Kenneth Sealy for their dedicated work in fraud investigations.

The meeting also included a special presentation from Steve Silverman, joined by Josh Silverman, sharing information about Eli’s Lasting Impact Foundation and its mission to help prevent sudden cardiac arrest in youth through early testing and detection.

The City of Aventura continues to address ongoing concerns regarding car transport carriers loading and unloading vehicles in residential neighborhoods, particularly in the Country Club Estates and Porta Vita areas.
These activities are prohibited near residential areas due to safety concerns, traffic disruptions, and impacts to residents’ quality of life. The Aventura Police Department has conducted enforcement efforts and will continue monitoring these areas to address violations.
