It is with sad hearts that we have made the decision to cancel the festival due to the forecasted weather this weekend.
Despite our efforts, we were unable to align all necessary factors to set a rain date. We apologize for any inconveniences.
This is not the end, just the beginning.
Make sure to keep an eye on this page to stay up to date on a future date for next year!

PLANNED CITY WIDE POWER OUTAGE⚡️⚡️

Please excuse the short notice as this was not on the calendar for today, it was a last minute decision for Show-Me-Power. Thank you for your understanding.

To help you prepare for the scheduled power outage by Show-Me Power from 1:00 a.m to 2:00 a.m on Friday, October 17th. Here is a guide for planning accordingly.

Key Information-
Utility: Sho-Me Power
Reason: Substation work
Outage Start: 1:00 a.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025
Outage End: 2:00 a.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025
Duration: Approximately 1 hour
------------------------------------------------------
Before the Outage-
Charge Devices: Fully charge all essential electronics like cell phones, laptops, and power banks.
Lighting: Have flashlights with fresh batteries ready. Avoid using candles, as they are a fire hazard.
Appliances: Unplug major appliances and sensitive electronics (computers, TVs) to protect them from potential power surges when the electricity is restored. Leave one light on so you'll know when the power is back.
Refrigeration: Keep your refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible to maintain a cool temperature. A full freezer can keep food frozen for about 48 hours, while a refrigerator will keep food cold for around 4 hours.
Medical Needs: If anyone in your household relies on electricity-powered medical devices or refrigerated medications, have a backup plan in place. Contact your medical provider or pharmacist to discuss your options.
Generator Safety: If you plan to use a generator, ensure it is set up outdoors in a well-ventilated area, at least 20 feet away from any windows, doors, or vents to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning.
----------------------------------------------------
During the Outage-
Stay Safe: Use flashlights for light and avoid using any gas stoves or ovens for heat or cooking indoors.
Conserve: Keep doors and windows closed to maintain a stable indoor temperature.
Minimize Travel: Avoid driving if possible, as traffic signals and street lights will be out of service.
Stay Informed: Keep a battery-powered or hand-crank radio handy for updates. Do not call 911 unless you have a real emergency.
-----------------------------------------------------
After the Power is Restored-
Wait: Give the system a few minutes to stabilize before plugging in and turning on appliances. This helps prevent overloading the system.
